The North Central Texas College Flower Mound Campus in conjunction with the NCTC Completion Center, the NCTC Career Services Center and Innovate Flower Mound will be hosting an Employment Day on Tuesday, March 7th at Innovate Flower Mound (600 Parker Square). There are two sessions: General Fair from 9-11am for those looking for basic, entry-level, student, seasonal, part-time work and a Career/Internship Fair from 2-5pm for those interested in an internship or major related career positions.

The hour before each session applicants can get assistance from the Career Services Center to edit resumes and get interview tips. Each session will offer 10 minute round table discussions about various areas of career topics. This event is free and open for current students and alumni as well as community residents. Applicants should dress professionally and bring plenty of resumes to distribute to employers.

There has been a great response from community employers needing employees, but there are still a few spaces available, especially for the Career or Internship Fair portion from 2-5pm. Amy Klohn, NCTC Completion Center Manager said, “We are excited about partnering with all the great employers to provide opportunities for our students and community.” There is a suggested table registration of $25 for-profit employers and free to non-profit. All contributions will be directly donated directly to the NCTC Foundation Emergency Student Fund Scholarship.
