The Administrative Affairs Office's purpose is to meet the college's needs--from physical plant day-to-day operations to renovation and or construction, risk management insurance, emergency operations, public safety and security, and issuing keys and scheduling vehicles on the Gainesville campus.

Overseeing Operations & Departments

Administrative Affairs Office oversees the following operations and departments.

  • Facilities' renovation and construction
  • Facilities' Master Plan
  • Campus Dean - Corinth as well as Directors and Coordinator of the Flower Mound, Graham, and Bowie campuses
  • Corinth Campus Dean; Flower Mound, Bowie, and Graham Directors and Coordinators 
  • Emergency Management & Institutional Assurance Department
  • Human Resources Department
  • Maintenance Department
  • Public Safety Department, including Campus Police & Security
  • Purchasing and Special Projects Department
  • Issuance of keys and scheduling vehicles on the Gainesville Campus

Employees working in this department are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the college's facilities. 

  • Delivering freight
  • Upkeep light bulbs and electrical work
  • Responding to and repairing campus plumbing 
  • Monitoring temperature in offices and classrooms
  • Managing the upkeep of campus grounds, including mowing, edging, and watering
  • Setting up room for various events. Request for Setup Form
  • Managing key/cores changes and lock repairs
  • Managing air-conditioning and heater maintenance
  • Staining and painting rooms and trim in and on buildings
  • Performing other various and sundry requests for employees and faculty
