Instructional Divisions at NCTC
Students in Lecture Hall

There are six major instructional areas at NCTC that make up the Instructional Division; Arts & Social Sciences, Math & Sciences, Career & Technical Education (CTE), Health Sciences, Adult & Continuing Education, and Student Success. Included in the Instructional Division are also the Library, eCampus (or eLearning Department), Dual Credit, and the Honors Program.

Transferable Credentials

NCTC offers six types of degrees; Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT), Associate of Applied Science (AAS), workforce certificates, and Occupational Skills Awards. All degrees are transfer ready, meaning that credits earned will transfer to most four-year in-state colleges or universities toward a baccalaureate.
